The
Physics
of
the
movement
of
a
soccer ball can be broken down into two categories:
the
movement
of theball on the ground and the movement of the ball in the air.
The
physics of a balls ground movement is related to the force of friction
(from contact with the
ground) and an outside force acting on the ball (i.e. a strike from
someone’s foot).
There are many different ways to get the ball into the air, but the most renowned way to strike a ball is by far, "Bending" a soccer ball.
